Amy+Rory, without a doubt (though I also love River, basically the Ponds). Represent my favourite time of the show, and I just love them.

Also very fond of the first TARDIS crew (i.e. Ian, Barbara & Susan), the U.N.I.T. family (i.e. Jo (but also Liz and Sarah+Harry), the Brig, Seargent Benton and cpt Yates) and Martha Jones

Donna is my all time favourite.

Quite fond of Jo Grant and Sarah-Jane, as well as Rose and Clara (so far)

But if River counts in this selection, she comes second to Donna.

I vote for Sarah Jane as a classic companion. From the new series love Jack,River,Amy and Rory.Wonder which former companions or doctors will show up in the 50th. Really would like 10 and Jack to be there.
