Barbara. Barbara, Barbara, Barbara! She is my favourite Doctor Who character ever ^_^
My others would be Ian, Steven, Polly, Liz, Leela, Tegan, Ace and Donna. Clara is looking very promising, I adore her already. And the Brigadier, if he counts as a companion, would be up there too

I like them all, I find something to enjoy in all of them (even Peri now) but Tegan is my all time No1...
As mentioned Clara looks very promising |

Quite a few have said Turlough, bit surprised by that. Not that he was bad just underused, or is he getting in because of the trunks.
 . Sarah Jane and Rose are mine. Not many have made a better start than Clara mind.

 Donna just a temp from chiswick, amy and rriver tried and clara is ok bbut donna had heart , rose needy aat times, sarah was good but outttgrew the dr, martha sweet but again a tad needy, jack harkness ggot on my nerves, romana 2 a close second aand third nyssa ax |

Sarah Jane, pure class, a Scouser like Tom Baker and she was a fine actress. Also I really like Mary Tamm as Romana, who was an equal match to the Doctor.
