Galaxy Ace 2 - no notification light..?

21-01-2013
...Just received this phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace 2) over weekend. Set it all up and thought - gee-wizz, what a nice all singing, dancing mobile...
Only just noticed when calls, texts, emails come in - there's no notification/flashing led on the front of the phone !
If you miss the initial call tone/beep when it comes in, there's no way of knowing without swiping the screen to double check of any other notification that you've got a message or call ect....
Even my old Nokia had that ....!
Will this be changed when OS update finally arrives..I hope so...
Is there and app or something that can keep repeating after a set time delay that you have stuff waiting ?

No the phone doesn't have the physical LED and no update can add it. Use NoLED app from the play store. It''s free and displays notifications on the screen.

The paid version of Light Flow allows for repeating notification alerts. I think the free version does too, but there may be limitations.

Apps stay on my screen until I check them or cancel them off. Worked fine when I used an Ace 2. You can set it so that you long press the icon on screen and it opens that message/app.
