I'm trying to decide between the Samsung E300 and the SE K500i. Of the phones offered by Virgin, these offer the best combination of price, looks and features.

Aesthetically, I prefer the clamshell design of the Samsung (see my other thread on clamshell phones), but the SE has MP3 ringtones, videoclips with sound and other features which the Samsung doesn't have.

I realise it's my choice and only I can make it, but does anyone have any thoughts/comments on these phones?

Purely on looks, I would go for the Samsung.

The Samsung does have video, I don't know about the mp3 ringtones though.

Yes, it does but it doesn't allow you to record clips with sound (according to some reviews I've seen.) It definitely doesn't have MP3, nor does it have voice control. Oh, and it's only dual band. But it does look so much nicer than the SE.
