Ella Henderson to sing "Believe" at NTA's
It is usually the winner that performs however Ella is performing on the show this year.

They should get Cher to fly over and perform with her. That would make it less excrutiating.

She sounded as if she was going to be the lonely one in the song, more than the guy she was singing about. The empowerment/strength of the original was subverted in a heartfelt way, to be honest I'm not sure if I liked it
In one line she's singing "I really dont think I'm strong enough" and then saying "I know that I'll get through this" but it doesnt sound as if she believes what she's saying. An interesting experiment and look at a break up, that I'm not sure worked.

that's why I think her version worked. it sounded like someone trying to give themselves a pep talk after a painful break up. trying to convince herself there is life after love.

Does seem a bit of an odd one. Maybe they're trying to distance James from the typical prime time TV route?

The girl is so over-rated. Fair enough if James couldn't do it, but the spot should have gone to Jahmene.

Because at the end of the day, it's Syco's decision! And as we now know, Ella is a part of Syco now too.

James still has single in the charts! And it's gone global (almost). Ella needs some more exposure or else she will be forgotten too. It's very easy for people to forget.

Fair point Maybe I'll give it another listen, it can be interesting when the "meaning" of a song is flipped and it can still work (take note Union J).

Why isn't it James? Why give it to someone who finished sixth (?) Maybe they''ll both perform, I think Joe and Jedward both did a few years back. Bit unfair on James if you ask me.
