A "phalet" WP8 would be something to behold. Now that I would like to see, if anyone is working on one.

*edit*....

in fact...

Huawei Ascend W1 coming to U.S. in Q2 2013, 6.1-inch WP8 phablet also in the cards

Quote:
“In speaking with Huawei over some drinks last night we did learn about that 6.1” device that they are reportedly working on. It’s not a 100% go yet as they want to test the market with the Android version first to see if people even want such a massive phone. Assuming it sells well though you can indeed expect Huawei to make a version with our favorite OS.”

So maybe, just maybe...

They get used to it. And speaker phone is best.Just let those ringing know its on.

5" will be normal in a year or so so the 6 or 7" variety will surely become even more common.

That and the HTC is just one of a number of handsets with near-identical specs, so objectively it's probably no better than others like the Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL.”

Actually . . . . I bought this phone with the money from my insurance so i'll probably be looking again when my contract runs out in December

I'm a bit of a phone tart!

Its quite incredible that a tiny bluetooth answer speaker has not yet become common.

Give it a single line of text and its the perfect phablet accompaniment. Great for sports too and better than the likes of those stupid 'dumb' Sony bluetooth watches.
Just maybe BT4 sees these arrive this year?

Funnily enough, I was out yesterday using a GPS tracking app on my SF and I left the WIFI on.
Yet I was only down to 20% battery after 7 hours.

Yes, I saw that as well. At first I thought it was quite amusing that mobile phones have gotten so big that you now need an accessory to make calls But it does make sense - as long as the accessory is somehow built into the phone (like the stylus is into the note 2).

Question is - how long before the 'accessory' starts to have more and more functions on it, so that it also get bigger and bigger

December is a long time away in the mobile industry.
There'll be two more top-of-the-range Samsungs released by then, let alone other brands.

It would be ideal if you wanted to use a 3G tablet in lieu of a phone.
