Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - Mans charger

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - Mans charger
I own a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet , but the length of cable on the charger is simply not long enough,to plug into the mains and sit with the tablet on your knee

Can anyone offer a brand or suggestion where you can buy a mains charger that is much longer than the one supplied with the tablet

Thinking laterally, how about a mains extension cable so that the socket for the mains adapter is closer?

I'd imagine that you want a longer USB cable. Not sure if the galaxy note uses a standard USB to USB charger or like my galaxy tab uses a USB to a proprietary pin. Either way couldn't you but a 5.0 meter cable to plug into the USB plug. That way it would give you some more length. I know for the galaxy tab you can get a 5.0 meter charging cable from amazon for about £5, which can be plugged into the USB plug.

I use an USB extension cable with my Tab 2 10.1 works fine.
