Yes, but only my own so not sure how other products would compare.

I basically just cooked bacon down with red onion, sugar and vinegar.

I've tried the famous Eat 17 Bacon Jam - I live in Walthamstow where the stuff is made!

I have to say I'm not 100% sure about the stuff. I found it worked better when adding it to hot dishes to enhance the flavour, rather than using it as a cold 'relish'.

This is what I do as well, I've never bought it ready made.

Yea you can, I've had it spread on toast then melted over some cheese under the grill

Yes, I thought it was really nice.

I served it with homemade goats cheese mousse, red onion marmalade and crusty bread as a starter. All 6 people there really liked it, the combination worked really well.

I was in a restaurant in Poland once and instead of butter for your bread they had a bowl of pork bits minced up with lard.

It was nicer than it sounds.

lots of the beer halls in Germany do bread and dripping as a snack, it's great
