This would be more interesting if people had to say whether they were over or under weight.

Most of you say you eat very little - is this truthful?
Im currently about half a stone overweight I reckon, I honestly dont know for sure, I rarely weigh myself, usually go off how clothes fit etc.

I eat very little during the week, not on purpose but just fitting it in around work/gym etc - weekend is a different story though! Although I am cutting down on bad stuff, limit myself to one treat day rather than the whole weekend

My Sunday looked like this -

no breakfast

Yazoo banana milkshake after gym around 11am

Chicken salad on pitta bread

m&s dine in meal for dinner, chicken and ham pastry thing with breaded garlic mushrooms, carrots, spinich and new potatoes

3 profiteroles and half a bottle of red wine

my average day during the week is

Breakfast - scrambled eggs or protein pancake with some fruit

lunch - chicken salad with a couple of oatcakes and some fruit usually grapes or melon

Dinner - chicken or tuna with salad/veg & jacket potato or rice.

Looks boring but I love salad & most veg so I enjoy it.

Cold laver bread on toast and a microwaved beef tomato - low fat diet - so far. It'll be veggie sausage, butterbean & cabbage stew later. I might have tomato soup for lunch.

Breakfast - scrambled eggs with spinach, glass of orange juice

Lunch - butternut squash & chilli soup, with water and a green tea

Dinner - Went out for dinner - Scallops with Avocado & salsa for starter, chicken and goats cheese salad for main, and had a nibble of OH's Nutella and Mascarpone calzone dessert... wasn't hungry at all but had to try it as it looked delicious. Also had a large glass of red wine and then a double vodka and cranberry juice.

Yesterday I had -
breakfast - porridge with apple
snack -2 clementines
lunch - couscous, roasted mediterranean veg, grilled halloumi
tea - wholemeal pitta, hard boiled egg, tomatoes
snack - 2 fondant fancies.
Today I will have -
Breakfast - porridge with mixed dried fruit
Lunch - wholemeal pitta with cheese and salad
dinner - cheesy lentil bake, steamed broccoli, green beans and brussel sprouts
Snacks - fruit, low fat greek yoghurt and a few brazils. Definitely no cakes or biccies today.
I have lost over4 stones through eating this kind of menu. I am aiming to lose a little bit more, though I am reasonably happy at this weight.
Should have added I am vegetarian, hence no meat/fish.

As is usual, nothing 'till dinner time, save silly amounts of coffee.

But today, the OH boiled an ox tongue, she's been mithering about doing so for yonks, and today she picked one up from a local butcher.

Bloody lovely with mash and horseradish.

Big kiss for that dinner
