So which do you prefer to watch, a house that gets along and it is fun and harmonious or a house full of bitching and backstabbing?

I personally prefer when everyone gets along and just have a laugh with each other, but I do like the occasional dispute to break out. So really what I am saying is I prefer it when it is natural and Big Brother aren't interfering creating events that will cause disputes.

I agree. This series has been utterly predictable and no shock it has pitted Rylan fans against Speidi fans. Some of my faves in the past have been the series "baddie" Aaron, Rex, Victor etc and they were balance of traits that keep a show interesting.

I think I would have enjoyed this series more without the basement task where Speidi got to watch everyone for two days and then the Big Bloggers task, as they were designed just to create a rift and cause arguments.

I believe the house would have been more enjoyable, as contestants who have left admit that the atmosphere in their brought everything down. Plus the focus wouldn't have just been on Speidi, we could have seen the other housemates and I do think rifts would have occured between Speidi and the housemates naturally anyway, but maybe not as deeply. I actually really enjoyed the few episodes leading up to Big Blogger task when Speidi were getting along with everyone.

A bit of both. Sometimes BB needs to give them a little push to get stuff happening. They've probably gone too far in this series though.

A bit of both, with no interference, if its too much one way or the other it gets very tedious.

A bit of both is always good, at least it should make everyone happy then too, but no doubt people will still moan about it.

A bit of both - with no interference. Good tasks can show peoples personality. (not a basement type one though).

A bit of both but it doesn't bother me if BB has to intervene once in a while to cause some excitement.

Unfortunately with some casts (like this one), the cast is too dull or it's too much of a happy house for anything to happen without BB's intervention. A solution to this would be to have a better cast but I just don't expect that from them

I so agree..The house mates should have said " Oh wait a minute here, you are just causing conflict after conflict with all this manipulation "....LEAVE US A BLOODY LONE TO GET ON WITH IT "....

They weren't the 'series baddie' at all though. Aaron was far less the series baddie than Jay and Anton. Rex was at the centre of the good team, with all the real baddies on the other team. Victor was treated as a comic god, with Jason far more of a baddie.

I agree.

There are however times, especially during the longer series that things do need to be stirred up a bit. I thought that was the point of imaginative tasks and challenges.

Repeated quizzes to reveal who said what about whom, who is the biggest bitch or back stabber etc are not tasks. The are lazy and puerile. Once per series they might get away with but this series has been utterly ridiculous. It is the only thing they know.

The production team is full of duds. I hope they have a clean sweep of them long before a summer series, get together a decent team and have well thought out tasks that are well executed.

Failing that, have a year off and watch shows from around the world and use their ideas.

Backstabbing and bitchy but natural. ie Caroline from last year. She didn't need BB to prompt her.

BB is best when the emotions are real, such as Denise Welch fight night. In this CBB its been like the emotions are fake and Speidi and Rylan are just faking being angry.

I agree totally. The tasks have been getting weaker and weaker and have helped make the show boring. I don't see why they can't look back at previous years and , with a few tweaks, use the same ideas.
Maybe they should forget winter shows if they can't come up with more interesting, imaginative tasks. Creating disharmony and tension isn't entertaining to everyone.

Yeah and when it is genuine and not staged for the purpose of seeming "entertaining"

A bit of both when it results from natural interactions between. the hms not situations contrived to create tensions.

Bitching and backstabbing all the way. If I want to see normal people getting along with each other, I can go and stare at my friends.

Bad behaviour, bitching etc is what pulls in the viewers and gets us all talking. We can love to hate certain characters, sure, but if nobody stands out and wakes people up, then there's nothing to discuss for 3 weeks (or 3 months in the case of normal BB).

I personally loathe Speidi and Rylan, but I would've switched off the first week if they hadn't been there.

I agree the tasks are pretty bad now, I thought the dictator task was really boring and was almost impossible for them to fail it really. Plus it was designed to stir up more trouble in the house again, what with them bugging Frankie's phone.
