According to todays Sun, celeb BB is 3 hms short.Holly Valance is the lastest star to turn down the show snubbing a cool £100,000 to appear.
Confirmed celebs are:
David Icke
Brigitte Nielson
John McCririck (hat on all the time so that no one knows he's bald!)
Frank McAvennie
Lee Chapman
Stars who are in talks include Victoria Silvstedt,Mylene Klass,Faria Alam and Craig Charles
To make things worse the house was trashed in a dummy run by pissed volunteers.
Not too bad a choice so far but you've got to get some fit ladies in to keep old Frank McAvennie amused and John McCririck and David Icke should provide some good entertainment.Brigitte Neilson has apparently been told to keep her clothes on as they seem to come off a bit too easily.
Still I expect it will be alright on the night......

David Icke??!!! Words fail me! Will he be wearing turquoise? Is he still the son of God, or whatever he claimed to be?

David Icke will be quality entertainment. He still has some weird beliefs so he's bound to freak people out a bit

Yet another "celebrity" for all the wrong reasons!

What are the right reasons?

Surely anyone who'll add to an interesting mix is worth putting in?

i'm sure this was a 'leaked' story b4 cbb starts by a producer in order to drum up interest - happens every year!!!

I just mean he isn't a celebrity - am not necessarily saying having him on the show is a bad thing, just that I'm quite shocked!

you're right jimboc, the five confirmed "celebs" are the right sort of characters you need for a good BB.At least 4 of them a bit mentally unstable

I really don't want Brigitte Nielsen to strip off, she's already been flashing her boobs on The Surreal Life (VH1, 9PM)

I expect she's got a "boob watershed" when it's safe for them to come out.If anyone can remember she was a bit crazy a few years ago on fantasy football.Apparently she had a good talking to in the ad break and she was considerably calmer in the second half

The odds aren't good on Celeb BB....Phoenix like career revivals compared to media hatchet jobs aren't very promising....

I actually don't know how much of John McCrirrick I can stand. Can't even watch his annual slot on GMTV the day before the Grand National. David Icke will be brilliant by comparison. I just had to look Frank McAvennie up on google!

I feel exactly the same as you about John McCrirrick, he makes me cringe *shudder*

Frank McAvennie's a West Ham legend! Tony Cottee and himself scored over 50 goals in West Ham's best ever season in '85/'86 . Unfortunately he then discovered the London nightclub scene and was soon sold on to Celtic before returning to West Ham in 1989.
He then got a bit involved with the drugs scene, got involved in a few scams before having a short spell in prison

Even more embarrassing that I'd never heard of him with the whole drugs and prison thing!!

He's very opinionated & argumentative, looks like they're trying to avoid the love-in of CBB2

Brigit Neilsen is guaranteed to drive us all potty.........she seems to have become a caricture of herself, loud, brash, bonkers............half the forum will be posting 'get that woman off our screens' whilst the other half will be saying 'at least she's not boring'

Saw a clip of her from that US RTV show she did.........OMG, she has aged terribly since her Red Sonja days.

I think that's going to be the problem with John McCrirrick too, as he isn't boring, but I think really crosses the line into 'aaargh, get him off my TV!!'

I'd forgotten about Red Sonja!

Someone should sue C4 under the Trade Descriptions Act. Surely a programme called "Celebrity Big Brother" should have some celebrities in it?

No more so than 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here' though!

I last saw her on The Salon. With a moustache.

She'll probably be good fun. And she did use to be a big name. Sylvester Stallone's mother might have been a more inspired choice though. She reckons her dogs channel messages from the spirit world and send them to her telepathically.

David Icke and John McCririck could be good. If they need women, just get one of those girls from Babestation. Some of them have big, erm, gobs and will do just about anything - including having sex with John no doubt. Not that I paricularly want to see that.

I saw Jake "The Snake" Roberts on Trisha not that long ago. It would be fantastic, if they could get him.

I don't like the idea of any footballers being in there. Especially ones who are only on there to behave themselves for a couple of weeks to show how nice they really are. When they're not beating up someone.

Ooh yes, Sylvester Stallone's mum would probably get on quite well with David Icke...

True Enough. Maybe go for one of those Class Actions things they're so fond of across the pond.

Lee Chapman makes me laugh though. He's a bloke who tries to act at least a good 10 years younger than he is. I had the misfortune of seeing him play at the back end of his career for West Ham. That was over 10 years ago so he must be at least 45 going on 30

Isn't he the husband of Leslie Ash who is widely suspected of mistreating her?

The prospective cast all need some kind of bad PR reversal reinvention or fading career boost. But of course that is the whole point of it isn't it.
