Hi there, i have been sorting out my cd back ups to copy over to xbmc, now i have tried to use cdart manger with not a lot of success for cd artwork. I have found a site called fanart.tv .Now altougth it has found a good amount of cd artwork, im still missing a fair few. Does any one know of any other good s sites to get the remaining cdart i need? Thanks.

I use a cocktailAudio X10 for music playback. It uses CD cover art in the display when playing tracks and on it's embedded web server that it uses to talk to a computer on the network to browse the music library.

For cover art it directly accesses three sources..

http://www.allcdcovers.com/
http://www.7digital.com/

and Google.

I've also browsed Amazon for CD covers as well. The results of the searches can be a bit variable (especially Google!). One thing I haven't quite sussed with allcdcovers is how to get a decent sized preview image of the cover. If you go to it with a browser you can see thumbnails of the cover but I can't see any obvious way to view the full sized image without downloading it first. But it seems to have quite a list of artwork available. Go to it via the cocktailAudio interface and it shows a decent sized image so they must be there somewhere!

Whether it is in a format, size and quality you need is another matter.

All I do is click on the image to open in new browser window, right click and choose copy. Open whatever software you use and Crtl + V to paste the image.
