I thought he was quite happy to play the comedy role on X Factor, but no, it seems this guy genuinely believes he can sing.

He takes himself VERY seriously. I think he's starting to believe his own hype.

The truth is he was nothing more than a comedy figure on X Factor. He was kept in because he was so bad. He was just another Wagner, Johnny Robinson etc.

This guy really is living in cloud cuckoo land if he thinks he'll have a successful album when he leaves the house.

He is totally up his own arse.

Sadly it's the GBP that inflate talentless attention seeking mediawhores like Rylan's ego.

We need to eradicate these famewhores from our society.

The sad thing is with the right team behind him he probably has a better chance of selling music than past winners (Joe/Matt etc)

While on X-Factor he'd admitted he wasn't the best singer on the show.
Plenty of us enjoys singing around the house, most of us don't take ourselves seriously and neither does Rylan

What makes you think he "genuinely believes it"? He's always said he knows he's not the best singer and that he's very lucky is to be in the position he is, week after week on the X Factor he was upset that contestants he knew were better singers than him had exited the competition before him.

You don't have to be a great singer to believe you could have a successful album, not these days.

That is why he is willing to totally embarrass himself on stage in front of hundreds of people.

Im talking about from this point on, not what has been and gone. Do you really think there are not people out there who will buy his music? No matter how dire?

Most of us don't inflict our dreadful singing on the nation

I had no idea who he was before CBB, i haven't watched x factor or any other talent show like it for years.

He really cannot sing, i am a better singer and i can't sing either, it's nothing to do with not liking him.

So what if he's going on tour with X factor, he earned his place for this tour. He's getting paid to do this tour, very good money .... I say G'Luck to Rylan

I know plenty of people going to see the tour solely for him, and he's getting paid handsomely for it. Don't let the truth get in the way of anything you feel though.

Exactly!

He's got an OK voice. He's a lovely guy. I don't think he takes himself seriously.....he's just being himself. He's just called himself an 'X Factor reject!' I think he feels grateful for everything that's come his way.

As British people, we're brought up to be humble or put ourselves down. Personally, I hate the latter....that you're expected to put yourself down to make other people feel better. I prefer the American 'I can' attiude...

Rylan genuinely believes he can sing.

He can. Everyone can sing it's just whether the listener likes it or not.

I think so too and, for me, that's really nice to see. No sense of entitlement, just lucky and grateful for it And its unfair to say he didn't work for it - the X Factor has a gruelling schedule, the live shows and the tour.

Why do you Rylan fans push this myth? Rylan can NOT sing. Unless tone death is what you're into?

He sung his ballads very nicely on X Factor. The faster songs were patchier.
