Joe has released 4 albums and is doing well for himself and Matt released his 2nd album in October, which entered the charts at Number 8. He is doing well for himself and both of the artists are happy with their careers. Rylan will most probably go in the same direction as Jedward, but I believe they are working on their 4th album and are one of X Factors official success stories.
He can carry a note. You don't have to have a great singing voice when you're auto-tuned on a dance track.

Exactly, he's hardly going to be belting out 'Time To Say Goodbye' is he? He sang live on his X Factor performances too, which is more than a lot of pop stars bother to do these days.

And me too. Tone deaf was the term you wanted, not death, we obviously have an expert in the field.
Rylan can hit most of the notes in a song, but there's no depth or class and not much technique. It's just an average "done some stage school" sort of voice, like all the comedians and music hall acts used to have to do. Small time musical at best. But not as terrible, obviously, as some make out. As a singer he will make a good presenter, yes.
I'd be very surprised if Rylan gets a career in the music industry.

Good for him joining the X Factor tour. But he cant sing. He didnt come 5th in X Factor for his singning prowess. It was for his entertainment, fun,one liners, etc..

Totally agree, much as I dislike him for his attention seeking, and despite all the camera time he has been getting, he was the right choice for the fashion task, and did a good job I thought, he could make a good kiddies TV presenter, but seriously his singing is total crap.
He does believe he can sing; however he's ALWAYS said that he knows he's not the best singer ever and he's not trying to be. He wasn't a "joke" on XFactor, people labelled him as that because he liked to have a good time and his main interest is dance music and performing entertaining performances which some translate into "not being serious about the show".
He proved that he can sing in the sing-offs and I'm incredibly happy with how many people he impressed.

Well there are people that buy Jedward's music and, sadly, there are many people who have sold records that can't sing. Just process the voice through a machine and presto they sound fine
