Is it possible to stream music or view pictures from a iphone 4 to a Panasonic TV ( Have got the app ) it works perfectly with a normal android phone but iphone wont send to the TV . If you use the media server on TV you can see the iphone is on the network but all pictures , video & music library's are empty . Its as if you need to enable sharing on the phone ? --- help .

I believe you need an Apple TV box to do that.

You say you've "got the app" - what app?

The iPhone (& other Apple devices) doesn't have a standard media sharing function, such as DLNA / UPnP Media Server - it uses Apple's own "AirPlay" system, which requires an Apple TV as mentioned by DevonBloke.

You *can* get apps for the iPhone that act as UPnP Media Servers, enabling the iPhone to stream to a client (such as a videogame console or, with the right app, a smart TV). "AirMusic" enables streaming of music, for instance. I'm not sure about videos and photos, but I'd guess that there are apps for those too...

The app is Panasonic Viera and it works perfectly with a Android phone and this is the odd bit I have seen it demonstrated with a iPad and you "flick" content to the TV in just the same way as if it was a Android phone . The Ipad just had the app and as far as I know was in "out of the box state"
