I've been on the forum more than is healthy over the past few weeks and have read a lot of threads - I can't recall many people thinking they are 'real' (whatever that means) but lots of discussions about their game playing.

Aah, but if they were playing up to the cameras/aware of the cameras the whole time, then they weren't necessarily telling the viewers what they were REALLY thinking

So you mean you've insulted all the FMs on the BB threads in more than one thread? That's dedication for you

Well of course they did. I thought we all knew that from day 1?

It doesn't mean we should like and applaud them for it though does it? No amount of money would induce me to ensure that a group of people's experience was nothing but miserable for three weeks.

That they were willing to do so, tells me everything I need to know about them.

The two become one house mate idea has been quite interesting in that we hear what was at times more like an internal dialogue. A bit like reading thought bubbles.

Several times I have wondered if they realised the cameras were on them when it was just the two of them alone. If their experience of reality TV is a semi scripted show (I never saw The Hills so I am picking up from here and the HL shows that it was semi scripted) I wondered if they realised that in BB the cameras never stop rolling.

The two aren't mutually exclusive though - they can be genuinely unpleasant people playing the role of villains

So when we vote, are we comparing an apple with an apple, or an apple with a banana? What scripts were the other HMs directed to follow?

If Rylan was directed to play the part of a complete and utter twunt then he's earned every penny of his fee.

British CBB = gang mentality. Small gangs big gangs it doesn't matter it all amounts to the same thing.”

If i've mis-read it fair enough, but from what i see is as follows.

They are actors

They have been acting throughout.

Tonight was the big impassioned 'reveal' for people on the outside to understand that.

Who decided how they acted it? Obviously themselves of course. Too many examples of diary room stops and exclusioism to mention.

If BB engineered it, why the hystrionics?

If they were playing a role throughout, why were BB so biased against them?

So many layers that none of us really know the truth and that to me is not BB.

They can have an Oscar, a Bafta, whaddever but they wont get me personally liking them because i aint got the foggiest who they are.

I dont hate them if that helps.

still doesnt excuse their unhealthy co-dependency which must have made them very difficult to live with.

they kept saying it was a game show, but they didnt want to play the game?

As always, the truth falls somewhere in between - they are a damaged, arrogant, co-dependent couple. They are toxic to each other and those around them. Look at other similar famous couples, or even ones you know in your own life, and you'll find people just like them - so absorbed in each other, the physical and emotional well being of anyone around them is irrelevant.

For a few brief years, they made money by exaggerating their damaged relationship on tv and in the tabloids. When the money and job offers ran out, they were the same damaged couple, only now they were an unemployed damaged couple.

They were given an opportunity to try their act out on a new audience in the UK, so the damaged, arrogant, co-dependent couple moved into the CBB house for 3 weeks, amped up their obnoxiousness, and got another paycheck. When the show is over, whether they get a new spin-off show on C5 or not, they will still be that same damage, arrogant, co-dependent couple. Again.

Speidi have been very entertaining. They won't win but are very worthy of their place in the house.

agreed.... bb didnt create a monster, they asked a monster to be a monster... speidi complied with that!

so it was all a great big endomol con, "how can we make as much money as possible", they succeeded.

and the rest of their life before BB, were they told to be utter gits then as well.

There is no script, no plan, they are just nasty vile obnoxious people. Regardless of its an act or not, saying disgustingly vile things isnt right.

Would the supporters feel the same if they were doing it too them?

They are full of BS, but they are clever and have a lot of people wanting them to win, so you have to hand it to them, although I wonder how much of their popularity is down to the anti Rylan voters, they should thank him, if Rylan wasn't there they would be long gone.
