One Plan with Three 2GB or unlimited data?
Artmuzz
25-01-2013
I went to my local Three store today originally to purchase the 1 month version of the One Plan from Three for £25. However the salesman recommended that I go for the 12 months contract version of The One Plan for £20 a month as at the moment instead of 2GB the data allowance is Eat all you Can until September 2013 when it goes back to the 2GB allowance. However I feel I have been duped by the salesman as there is nothing mentioned on the Three website about the 12 months contrack One Plan being Eat All YOu Can data. Instead it just mentions its 2GB.

Does anyone here have the 12 months contract One Plan with 2Gb and can they confirm if it is Eat All You Can until September? Please advise.

I thought you could get All You Can Eat for £15 a month?

Yeah you can here => http://www.three.co.uk/Store/SIM/Pay_As_You_Go
Or you CAN get all you can eat for £25 WITHOUT reverting back to 2GB here => http://store.three.co.uk/view/search...an=PAY_MONTHLY

You don't want to go to that shop again Hahahaha!!!
Just get it from the Three site.

Yeah but it doesn't support tethering. The £25 and £20 One Plan are the only plans that support tethering.

Well, according to my account on Three I get the Eat All YOu Can data on the £20 12 months One Plan Package, so I guess the salesman was honest.

Why would you sign up to a 12 month contract and then have your allowance lowered half way through. I dont trust retail staff with half the stuff they say. Just get the one with actual unlimited data. Not the one that clearly states 2gb as you'll probably be charged for going over. If you dont need tethering then there are cheaper plans avaliable

Don't Three just enable tethering on all plans but get upset if you over do it on payg plan? Depends on how much you use it.
I could be wrong.

Thats OK if I can upgrade my account to the £25 One Plan. But I don't think this is possible until my 12 months is over or is it?

They block tethering on all plans now. You get a tethering block screen if you try it on any plan other than the one plan.

And I don't think you can mate, because its a 12 month contract. Not a 1 month one. The guy probably gets paid more commission for signing you up to a 12 month compared to a 1 month.

Oh well I get to pay an extra £10 a month for an extra 1GB internet in over 8 months time as I was £10 a month with GiffGaff and only got 1GB data.

you'd think that their employees would jump at the chance of you paying more but they seem incapable of even that...

Do it in a store? or just ring through to a different operator.

Yeh me too tbh. I don't really speak to CS much but i've noticed that they were terrible early on, go so much better a few years ago, and now they've gone downhill again...

Just keep asking them and i'm sure they'll cave at one point.

Find the right plan and get it, ive been with them for about 3-4 years and i can honestly count on one hand the amount of times ive had to ring them for whatever reason(none of them was for anything major).

I know people on pay as you go who tether and use ridiculous amounts. Then one of the guys I know switched plans and now all his tethering is blocked. It seems to be on new plans only.

Plus its against t&c anyway so they'd have the right to cut you off at anytime.
