3G and HSDPA
My mates android phone gets HSDPA and my iphone 4S only goes to 3G, so my question is, if we were to do a speed test when his phone is displaying HSDPA, does that mean his download/upload speeds WILL be faster, or is it possible that i could still get better results than him even if my phone isnt HSDPA compatible?
We are both on different networks(me three and hes on tmobile/tesco) P.s would have done a speed test but he didnt have speedtest installed at the time |

The 4S can support HSDPA+ up to 14.4Mbps IIRC. iPhones don't display the 3G technology they're using at the time, it'll be 3G, E or the circle for GPRS. Tesco runs on the O2 network BTW. Three support HSDPA so give a speedtest a go and see how fast you can go!

If your seeing full speed on the iPhone 4S it should be close to 10mbps, usually 9.something.
