Please can anybody help me out with this?

I keep getting the "internal memory full" message every time I switch my phone on from stand by.
I am constantly having to go into the "applications" and clear data from apps which then does get me more space but only until next time I switch my phone back on from stand by.

In >settings then >accounts and sync should i have "background data" and also "auto sync" switched on?

Have you moved all apps to the SD card as far as possible? Seems to have only 181MB to play with.
You can try App2SD which will clear the apps cache in one go, which may help. Otherwise, you may have to uninstall one or more apps.

Hi tealady,
Thank you for your reply/help.
Yes I've moved all apps which I can possibly move to the SD card.
I've got the App2SD and have and keep having to move the apps cache.
Maybe there is a possibility of uninstalling literally a couple more apps.
Eeeek! I've got another just over 12 months of this until my contract ends then I can get another phone a month early. Can't wait!

Honestly when I was in your boat with a crap phone on a contract I sold it and got another. My advice is sell the Ace and pick up a used Huawei Ascend G300 for about £60. You should only be out of pocket by £20 and will have a much better phone.

The Galaxy Ace is a nice cheap Samsung phone, but if it had more memory it would be actually very good! That's the only thing that lets it down. The Ace 2 has 1GB of RAM I believe

You asked the same question here a few days ago:

The answer is still the same. The phone doesn't have enough memory. Period. Buy a different phone.
