I cannot set a password for my Wifi!!!
...and I'm giving away free Wifi internet to anyone who wants it!!
HELP! Ive just connected a new Belkin N+ Wireless Router to my VM 'Superhub' (being used in Modem mode) The USB network adapter is a Sweex dongle. Never had this problem before with other routers. Cant get the Belkin installation CD to work (just freezes, so thats no help) Any idea HOW I can set a password as I dont like the idea of my network being open. |

You don't need the belkin CD or any of the software on it. Windows has all you need.
Using your browser type the router IP address (I think it is 192.168.1.1 but check the manual) into the address bar. This will connect the browser to the router. Then go to the wireless settings on the router, you will need the admin password (check the manual) and there you will be able to set a wireless security key. |

192.168.2.1 and go to security on the sidebar. You might want to change the SSID (under Channel and SSID) because Windows will see the network but will tell you "the security credentials do not match"(or something similar) as Windows remembers the network is open.
