I believe its not long started in Canada (November I think) so I'd hope its not too long before we're back in St. John's.

Series 1-3 are on Sky's On Demand service if you want to re-watch them as well. You've got until the end of July though.

I've just remembered this... so no doubt missed S4. Is it repeated at any time?

Doesn't look like it, although they have been repeating Series 2 during Weekend afternoons.

I've really like the previous Series. but I just can't 'get into' Series 4, there's too many comedy elements attached to recent episodes.

^Thanks for that. Found that S4 is still on. Caught it last night, I know what you mean about the comedy - they really over did Des getting hit in the face bit.

Is it me or are the fight scenes the most poorly executed in TV?

I've not seen the last 5 episodes, I just gave up with it. If it was more Tinny and Des focused it cold possibly live with it, but it's not.

I nearly gave up, but I just gave this weeks a go (the one with the hostage situation) and it was fantastic. Classic RoD.

Another gripe I've got - the sponsorship by McDonald's. It looks soo out of place them holding McCafe cups instead of what we all know they'd be drinking... Tim Horton's.

Allan Hawco will be appearing as an ancestor of Jake Doyle in an episode of Season 7 of Murdoch Mysteries which starts on Alibi in January and Yannick Bisson will be returning the favour by appearing in an episode of Season 5 of Republic of Doyle as a descendant of William Murdoch.
