Yes it really wasn't the greatest effort. I felt the production overcame that hurdle though, very enjoyable film I thought.

I thought the film was strangely bland considering what a good actor he is and he usually picks meaty roles.

Shame really as Hitchcock seemed such a fascinating person.

Something the distributors should be looking at rather than prosecuting fans wanting to see it.

Been out in america for months.

Will these studios never learn?, i seen cloud atlas MONTHS ago, i have a full HD copy sat on my hard drive, will i now pay over £12 to see it at my local cinema again?, perhaps.....but then perhaps not.

if it been released a day or two after anywhere else (or even a week later), i would have been at the cinema with my missus watching it, it wasnt so i wasnt.

Anthony Hopkins and Stella are reaching there anniversary as he is playing this role of Hitchcock I think he will play a good hitchcock as he is up for oscars and stuff for it but then like others have said they may have tried a little harder on the make up but then at the end of the day it is anthony Hopkins and people need to know its him.
