Airplane Mode - explain ..?
...(new mobile user)..If I put my mobile into Airplane Mode overnight to save battery do any texts/emails and missed calls that would normally come in automatically reload for viewing the next morning when AMode is switched off ?

Texts and emails will come through, but not missed call alerts.
Some networks do send a text message if you get a call when your phone is unavailable, but not all do. I get them from T-Mobile, but you'll need to check with your network as to whether or not they provide this. Basically it's no different to if your phone was switched off or had no signal. |

Texts and emails yes. Calls no - unless your network have something like my Vodafone business account which sends you a text if you've missed a call

I've just dialled my mobile from my landline - says the person/me cannot take the call now and it gives you the option of leaving a message or hang up and call back later... |
