Twitter somehow magically generated glowing tweets to celebs which users weren't aware they'd written!

BuzzFeed's Kate Aurthur noticed something odd when she was looking at Amanda Bynes' Twitter page (like you do.)

That appears to be a tweet from Kate that Amanda Bynes retweeted, but Kate never wrote it. I decided to check out Amanda's feed for myself, and that's when things got even weirder.

The reporter looked at the tweets of Kayne West and the celeb was able to retweet friendly messages not written by the reporter.

Chris Brown was also able to re-tweet non existing tweets.

Earlier today, some users experienced a bug on twitter.com. While scrolling through another user’s profile, it falsely appeared to the viewer that the user had retweeted a Tweet that the viewer hadn’t actually sent.

This issue has been resolved.
