As soon as you started to sing, my mind was made up. You have an absolutely brilliant tone, it’s very edgy and has a cool rock style but I also feel like there’s a hidden depth there, something a bit bluesy underneath the edgy exterior, your husky voice gave the song a really heartfelt feel, well done! – Yes

Hmmm this is a bit of a problem for me. I like your voice a lot and at the end I thought your voice was really good but during the whole thing you were quite out of tune until the end and that’s my problem. I really want to keep you in and say yes even though you were out of key a lot because I really like your voice by itself. Just for the ending I am saying yes.

CONTESTANT 6:- Thank you. I am all for the unique vocalists, someone when I listen to them I feel that they are their own artist, they have a voice which is original to them. However for some reason I felt that your audition offered very little emotion through your delivery of the song, the word I would use is “Bland” I just feel I have heard performances like that in a bar or club, therefore for me it is a NO.

As many of you know, rock is kind of my thing in these games as I'm a big fan of both classic and modern forms of rock. This was quite a decent audition in my opinion, but not good enough for my team unfortunately. I'm sorry, but it's another NO from me...

CONTESTANT 11:- You have lovely voice it is very strong and technically you are great, however haven’t we seen artists like you before, I think you are very specific in terms of what you could provide this show as a contestant, you voice is technically brilliant however you are missing that emotional connection for me through the vocals, therefore for now it is a NO.

That was far too overpowered for my liking, I do think you have some talent but for me, you need far more control of your vocals or you will end up damaging your vocal chords. It’s a pity as you have potential but you’re too unpolished for me at the moment, I’m afraid – No

You have a very nice soul/gospel voice and I think it you showed us how strong your voice is but you also showed how you can put emotion in a song and giving a strong performance in the process but if I am completely honest I do think there have been stronger so far so I am gonna say no.

That was a very powerful vocal you showed us there. For my tastes, you gave a bit too much. I could see you do very well if you toned it all down a bit. Less is more is a good thing in some cases, your audition would've been better with it. Unfortunately, that has led me to the decision to say NO for the time being.

That was really captivating, you gave some serious attitude to that song and when you belted those notes out it was just wow. This song in particular is really difficult to sing and the way you controlled your voice and the way you knew when to be soft, add attitude and got for the big notes. I am really impressed! You're very interesting, I absolutely adored the husky vocals! My mind was flooded with ideas the second I heard your voice, I genuinely believe you could go pertty far in the competition with the right mentor and material. Anyway, it's a YES from me!

Hmm, there’s no denying that you have talent and I quite liked the choice of song but I felt a bit indifferent to the performance in general. It lacked any real feeling or emotion, it was just a not bad performance, I don’t want ‘not bad’, I want incredible or extraordinary. I expect someone else to turn for you though so well done anyway. – No

CONTESTANT 20:- From that performance I can see that you have a real sense of music, due to the way you were able to move the song along with both your vocals and the accompaniment of the drum and bass. Your voice has a real southern blues element to it which is refreshing to listen to. I would love to see you let go a little more in the performance as I believe you have the type of voice that could control an audiences’ attention. It is a YES.
