Here is a good place to talk about them, not going to promote other forums but there are alternative phone forums, some more about custom roms, some just plain mobile.
You can see new phones on tech blogs such as Engadget, Gizmodo and on Youtube I subscribe to Mobiletechreview, mobilegazette, pocketnow and others. A big vote up for Lisa from mobiletechreview on Youtube, she really knows her phones and tablets and does some really good reviews. |

Agree with the above post. Do look out for Mobile World Congress in 25-28 February 2013 where all the mobile phone manufactures except stick in the mud Apple will be there with this years new phones! Expect it to be well covered on the above websites. Also The Register and Mobile Today are worth a look.

Is there a site similar to the Carphone Warehouse where there is a list of up coming mobiles?

Well Aaron from phonedog is rather cute
lol and I like the comedy aspect that lockergnome brings to it. Overall though Mobiletech review are the best.To me if you are going to review you review, not say things like when you walk in to xx shop you come out working. It just smacks of being in people's pockets. He doesn't really tell you the bad parts and is too slick and sales pitchy which annoys me. I want to know the good and the bad and don't talk like you're selling it to me, just tell me how you got on with the device and tell me about the thing, it's not a sales pitch it's a review. Lisa from mobiletechreview will compare to other phones on the market of the same kind, she will criticise and she is truly unbiased and independent with her reviews in my opinion, she also reviews things as a user and notices things like uncomfortable button positions, or a screen with a lot of glare, she also knows so much about the devices, components and how they compare from model to model, that's why I like her reviews. |
