I'm wondering if anyone can help or has general advice.
I bought a property a year ago with the Mission FS1-AV speaker system installed. Also left was a Panasonic SA-XR15 amp, which is also still in use.
I'm not an audiophile by any stretch, hence the question. It concerns the centre speaker, placed on the wall under the TV, which I'm not satisfied with.
Sound seems to get drowned out by the other speakers, particularly during scenes with music or a lot of periphery noise. In these situations, speech is low, a little muffled, is lost to all other noise. I hope this makes sense?
Do I have any solutions to improve this? Any way to individually increase the volume from this speaker? Perhaps buy a new, individual mission speaker as a replacement? Or maybe use a soundbar as a centre speaker?
I suppose a further complication is that the speaker leads are plastered into the wall. The lead connections are 2-pin connectors which slot into the speakers. Are such connections pretty much universal, meaning sourcing a replacement can be done pretty easily, or is this connection specific to this particular make/model?
Thanks in advance.
