Nexus 7 3g start up problem
Anyone else have a problem with their Nexus. I've only had mine a week and I've noticed that sometimes when the screen goes back to the lock and you have to unlock by swipping, mine swipes, unlocks then within a second locks again - once it does that the only way to unlock the tablet is to turn it off and turn it back on again. Firstly, does that make sense and if it does does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or if the tablet is faulty.

it's unlikely to be faulty in the conventional sense of the word. these things are always software bugs such that doing a reset would be the same as getting a new one.
you are fully up to date? |

Flagpole, I would have thought it was up to date bearing in mind it is only a week old today - but will certainly do a reset once I am at home and can access wifi - hopefully that will work

Thanks again, not got too much on there at the moment, some games, Netflix,Sky Go, Facebook, DS and Twitter, can only think if it is a application that is causing the problem it has to be one of the games - may delete them and re-install them one at a time to see if that helps.
To update - do I go into the setting, I thought the tablet updated automatically? Can you tell I'm a bit of a novice.

the tablet will update automatically. usually. but it's in settings - about tablet to do it manually.
i doubt any of those apps would cause the problem. it would normally be something that was to do with locking the tablet. |
