What andriod email app do you use?

I hate having separate apps for different email providers. The hotmail one is useless & if someone sends an email with a url in it, I can't select it, copy it or nothing I have to forward it to gmail so i can access the link,

Just wondered if you know of a better solution, paid or free with no ads.

thanks.

This is the official app which basically allows you to treat hotmail as a pop3/imap account. Its the one I use and no problems opening links.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...3RtYWlsLlo3Il0.

That is the one I use for hotmail & on my s3 it is total garbage. I can not open simple links in it without forwarding to gmail & accessing it there. Am I meant to copy & paste the text (assuming you can control those stupid tiny blue markers to the start & end of the link) into a browser? It (for me) is shite.

Stock Samsung app. Tried K9 only connects to Exchange via Webdav (last time I checked) so with the employer using Groupwise and GWsync to connect, K9 dont work.

Use Gmail, but set the web interface to pick up and label all your different email accounts.

Does the stock app not show an integrated inbox like iOS?
I thought it did.
By the way, the best way to set up a Hotmail account is to select Exchange, enter all your detals and when it asks for a server name just put in m.hotmail.com.
This will set Hotmail up properly with fully synced email folders, contacts and calendar, just like a proper hosted Exchange account.

You can do a similar thing with Gmail but put in m.google.com instead. As far as I can remember selecting the Gmail option doesn't sync both the calendar and contacts (this may have changed)
Using the Exchange route will sync everything.

Same here. All email goes to Gmail and then I use the Gmail app on Android devices. Simples.

I use Kaiten Mail, works properly with my IMAP push email service unlike the stock app which has no support for it.
