Same here, both links working fine.

Presumably something will replace Cinemagic, Cinemagic+1 & Cinemagic HD, if not, it's not good news for Sky. It's one thing to lose FTA channels, like shopping and adult from the EPG, but to start losing subscription channels is something Sky will presumably be concered about.

Update

12.607 H, 27.500, 2/3.

'Filth'....Now carrying EPG now/next data which matches what it's currently broadcasting, a shopping channel, presumably, 'The Mall'.

I wouldn't overplay the loss of one channel. I don't imagine Sky executives will be quaking in their boots just yet or subscribers deserting in huge numbers (or at all) as a result of this.

Company strategies change all the time and channel changes (both additions and removals) are inevitable.

It would be helpful to know the reasons behind this decision though.

Sky will most likely just incorporate Cinemagic movie content onto Sky Movies Family channel.

The point of the Disney Cinemagic channel was to put the Disney channel on the Kids pack before Sky changed the packages so more people would subscribe to the Sky Kids pack
and then put a new channel in its place for Sky Movies customers or people paying the extra £5 a month fee - that new channel was Disney Cinemagic, now we will get just the Movies channels
with no bonus channel if you are a Sky SD subscriber or you will just have the MGM channel if you are a Sky HD customer, a backward step in my view, unless there will be a channel in its place like last time

Will Virgin follow suit and ditch Disney Cinemagic as well?

I'm not overplaying it, and I agree that Sky won't be too concerned by the loss of one channel, well actually it's three channels. The most significant thing is probably the loss of Cinemagic HD at a time when Sky are pushing for more HD subscriptions.

That's true, but most of the removals are usually FTA channels, shopping, adult, etc, Sky won't want the same trend to happen amongst subscription channels.

Absolutely, it would.

Maybe Disney are looking to restructure their relationship with Sky, perhaps we'll see a new channel launch that'll be part of the Entertainment Extra package?

If you look at the figures in the press release pdf mentioned earlier, it is fitting to note that

This time last year HD subs were 39% of the total audience share DTH
Three months ago that was 42%
Now it is up to 44%.

It would be nice though if they did something to really push HD at least over 50% and beyond!

They'll perhaps being back Toon Disney which was closed to allow the launch of Cinemagic. I think it would be best to move Cinemagic's non-movie content to the Disney Channel and move all the Disney films to Sky Movies Family, which will strengthen those channels.

Cinemagic wasn't a great channel, and much of the time it showed regular cartoons rather than films.

'The Mall' has been added to Sky EPG 682.

Cinemagic was a standalone, or simply a bonus channel if you took Movies, so if you had the Movie channels you did not pay for it anyway, the people who will lose will be those that paid £5 fot it on it's own?

Maybe a sign that STV HD could be closer to a DSAT EPG launch?

This is STV you're talking about, don't hold your breath.
I'm not.

Don't worry RR I'm not, they are worse than ITV when it comes to decision making! UTV HD is meant to be making an appearance soon so guess if we are to see STV HD then it would probably appear at the same time.

I'm amazed it's taken so long considering it's already on-air and has been for two years, together with EPG data!

Update

12.607 V, 27.500, 2/3.

"55303" (Shopping channel TBA) is now testing with video & audio.

Note: Both "55303" & "54120" seem to be shopping channels from the same company (they've similar programmes), so expect "54120" to start video testing soon too, and then they'll probably launch on EPG 667 & 683 in due course.

It has been broadcasting 'Daybreak' in SD on STVHD since 2nd Jan - there was a caption until then

Also noticed the Nightscreen programming is in SD as well on STVHD.
