Is it possible to transfer HD ts files back on to humax HDR
Firstly a big thanks to raydon , his firmware is great.
The problem i have is that i transfered programmes and films i wanted to keep onto my pc to make space on the hdr . But as some of the recordings are in HD i cannot open them on media players and file converters cannot read the HD files. So my only hope is to put them back on the Humax HDR freesat does anyone have any ideas

Provided you have the 3 matching files (.ts .hmt .nts) you can copy them back if you wish to the hdr that recorded the content. You don't need to though, the latest custom firmware update allows the Foxsat to mount a drive on your network as a virtual usb drive. This should let the box play back the content directly.

Thanks for your reply Graham.
When i transfered the files with Raydons great programme , there was only 1 file for each programme and the HD files could not be opened. so to copy the files back do i use a USB stick ? also i have looked on the Humax and cannot see how to access the pc to watch the programmes stored on it . ![]() Gary |

Thanks for your help Andrew.
I have tried it but its the same problem, it does not recognise the file. works perfect if they are sd recordings its just the hd that seems to be a problem. why do they bother encrypting the HD files and not the SD surely its all or nothing ![]() Gary |

I used the firmware on chrome , opened 'browse media files' ,on the option symbol at the end of media files and you get a drop down menu = Delete
Lock Protect Mark Watched Rename Download By clicking download it transfered the files to my pc so maybe it did not transfer all 3 files ( ts. hmt. nts. ) and i did delete some of the recordings as i was trying to make space on the hdd. It was only when i tried converting the HD files i knew there was a problem so i have saved most of the HD recordings on the Humax. I will have a look at that link. Thanks Graham. Gary |
