I have a Samsung D6100 LED TV, Samsung state that Demand 5 will work on all 2011 & 2012 sets but it does not show up in my app store section, also they claim Netfix will work on 2012 models, but I can't get this either, any reason why?

My TV is a 2012 model.

Samsung don't seem to bother about the series 6 range to be honest. It seems it's all series 7 and 8 that get most of the newer apps.

I thought so!

I would have thought 6 series would have more support as it must be the most popular selling series due to price range etc. I know 7 and 8 are their top models but anyway lucky I have other ways to get on demand and catch up.

Yeah its a nice range but they don't seem to have supported it for long

Have you tried searching under 'videos' in the app section, wasn't until I checked specifically that I found it. Wasn't on the default list.

Yep tried that and also a main search but nothing, checked for a firmware upgrade too but no updates since june last year I think.

Have you written to Channel 5?

Your'e not missing much to be honest. Demand 5 is awful.

My ES6300 has demand 5 and netflix.

I thought it was all E-series Smart TV models, but only the 7&8 high end models for the D-series.
