I have done this in other forums before so I thought I should try it here too

Instructions and Rules

• 4 Judges and 16 contestants with each judge/mentor having 4 contestants each

• Every week you are giving a theme in which you choose a song and edit the lyrics to make them your own

• You and your mentor must decide together what song you are choosing from that theme; failure to do so will result in me giving you a list of songs to choose from

• The minimum requirement for an editted song is one verse, one chorus, another verse (or bridge/middle 8) and a final chorus - just like when they shorten songs on the actual X Factor.

• You usually have a week to do your song.

• Once you have finished your song, PM it to your mentor and to myself. This is in the event that you cannot make the "live show" and the mentor has to post it on behalf of you. If your mentor can't make it, then I will post it on your behalf.
• On the night of the show (usually an arranged time), I will introduce you, and you must (or your mentor/or me) post your song - the judges may give their views but it isn't really necessary.

• Once everyone has "performed", the judges will PM me their favourite in order of preference, with 6 (in the case of week 1) being their favourite and 1 being the least favourite; NOTE: JUDGES CANNOT VOTE FOR THEIR OWN CONTESTANT!!!

• The judges are given a day to do this and on that night, I will announce the results live...and yes I do add the tension hahaahahahaha.

• The two contestants with the least votes will be in the sing-off where they must post their own editted save-me song...it can be anything.

• The judges will then post LIVE who they are sending home (no need for explanation but they can if they want) and the person with the most will be sent home.

• This competition will last a maximum of 12 weeks but could be less.

That's fine, but a judge position isn't as time consuming as contestants, the bare minimum you would have to do is rank the contestants song and vote in the sing off. but if you dont want to then thats okay :L

Also, if by next week i havent reached 16 contestants, ill probably just cut it down to 12 contestants with 3 in each category!

Basically in every round you are given a song to "sing" (edit lol). Your job is edit the lyrics and make them your own. The minimum you have to do is one verse, the chorus, the abridgement (middle 8, etc, whatever you like to call the last verse before the final chorus) and of course the final chorus. But if you want, you can edit the whole song.

But basically you know in the actual x factor, the song is cut down and its usually
