iPhone 5 sim question

Does anyone know if contacts are kept on the sim or not , I am going to use the sim in a nexus 4 , was wondering if they would appear or not ? .....

Downloaded an app to output an excel file , not elegant but it will do ....

Yeah, nothing on sim. All data stored in the handset. Use something like this

Once you've got the contacts in CSV format it easy to import them to most things.
These days it's best to have your contacts in a synced email account like gmail or hotmail. That way you never have to worry about them when it comes to changing devices.
