But you have an E616v which it does not support and option isnt given!

Also, some later versions cant be done this way.....

Anyway, nothing lost eh...

There is no free solution.

In other words, whatever you download wont unlock it, however there is a method, so it can be unlocked.

I take it you mean a cable solution? It looks like I will have to give Orange a call and find out if they are able to help.

thanks steve007 hadnt been able to send texts on my works phone used you unlocker and now it sends text it was an o2 phone with a vodafone sim card in it boss is well pleased
it was a samsung slidy fone by the way

I have taken the FTP server offline now, so I've uploaded everything to the site in my profile now. Along with FREE NEC unlocker for E313,E616, E616v, E228. It work with data cable, not the USB type - must be serial. Phone must be switched off. Once you press unlock, press the power button very very briefly (not long enough for it to come on) and hey presto, youre phone is unlocked!
