S3 Mini wifi issues,,,

Hi everyone

I recently upgraded my phone to the Samsung S3 Mini and had no issues until yesterday. The wifi was working fine, then despite the phone saying it's connected to the network, the signal's strong etc it just... well, isn't connected to the wifi network!

I've reset the router and restarted my phone and redone the wifi connection on it, but I'm stuck now. I can still use certain apps but can't access the play store etc unless I'm not connected to wifi. Any ideas, anyone?

What other apps aren't working can I ask? If they don't work on wifi, I assume you have "Mobile Data" set to on?

I mean like my youtube app and ones that require the internet - instagram, for instance. Games etc are fine.

tried rebooting the device? I can't really see why some would work & not others. have you tried a speed test?

I assume you have actually got the mobile data package with your provider specific for your phone? You won't get jack unless they set it up for you....

This isn't the issue. The OP can access apps that need a data connection when NOT using wifi.

OP, presumably you have other devices connected to the wifi? What I'm saying is, have you confirmed that the wifi is working?
