is there any character this guy cannot play !!
iv watched many of his films now ,most recently "beautiful boy" and just find his performances breathtaking . fantastic actor !! |

Yes, he's a fantastic character actor, probably our best atm. I was particularly impressed by his portrayals of Brian Clough & David Frost. I'd forgotten about ten minutes into each film that I was watching a 'actor'. Amazing guy.

One of the best, if not the best, character actors around.
As you say, when he's in a film you're not just watching so and so playing themselves like many do. |

He also played the reclusive Jeremy Dyson
in the League Of Gentlemen:Apocalypse,and as ever looked more like the real thing,than the real thing! |
