Intermittent dial tone
Over the past few days, I've noticed when I've been going to phone someone, my dial tone has a little pause every couple of seconds as though I have a voicemail 1571 message. I dialed 1571 but have no messages, yet still get this dial tone.
Any ideas what it could be? This is with Sky Talk |

Could be they have simply failed to clear the voicemail alert. Or a call went to voicemail but no message was left but the alert was established.
What you could try is call your landline from a mobile, let it go to voice mail and leave a short message to yourself. Then go in and retrieve this message and see if that clears down the dial tone. |

Could it be a divert instead? e.g. your phone line is diverted to another number?
