No treats for us - got to watch the diabetes, although I will be buying Jr an Easter Egg (nothing more than £2, cannot believe the prices of some of them!).

My indulgence is fruit which I do tend to eat a lot of, and twice a month some fat free greek yoghurt blitzed with frozen fruit to make a faux ice-cream (with added sweetener).

Went a bit mad this month and bought loads of the stuff, eases my conscience with all the goodies that I consume. Passion at the moment is black grapes.

Scandalous the price of Easter eggs, I seldom bother buying them nowadays.

i got a big piece of rug canvas in a charity shop for 99p last week, i`m planning to do a t-shirt rug with, or possibly buy a load of wool jumpers and felt them for it.

how`re you doing your rugs? stitching, knitting/crochet or hooking? [and how quickly does your method grow?]

i just bought a lovely vintage, heavy, zigzag machine and i have my eye on a nice treadle base to convert it to, after which my sewing machinery will be complete [allegedly].

I've broken my record for the most amount of money I've ever spent on one record.

Previously it was £60 for a flimsy, 90s LP version of 'The Red Shoes' by Kate Bush. A record I've never really liked.

But now I've paid £67 (inc p&p) for the 7" 'Possession By Remote Control' by Man or Astroman? Which works out about £16.75 per track. Bargain!

Hi sorry 'Annette' I've only just seen your post.

I'm hooking my rugs and I use old t-shirts cut up. The first one I completed was great until I decided to wash it to see if it was washable. The weight of it almost broke my washing machine, and although I'd bound the edges of the hessian with fabric, it frayed

I usually do a couple of rows in about an hour so it's not the fastest craft but very relaxing and quite addictive really- about two thirds through the second rug, learning as I go. I think for the next one I'll bind the hessian edges with fabric before I start- another good tip is to bind them with masking tape.

Tickets to a classical music concert for my dad. It's his birthday and father's day next month and I'll probably give them for father's day as it's nearer the date, but I'm not totally sure yet as giving them for his birthday would give him more notice and he likes to plan ahead.
