Can anyone advise me definitively how far in advance of a BB contract renewal date BT will discuss renewal.

I have been given different advice from two BT representatives, one said two months in advance of renewal and the other said three months.

The reason I ask is that I have just signed up for free upgrade to Infinity until the end of my existing contract ( May). I am also considering a move from BT vision to Youview but if I do this now I will have to agree to a 12 month Youview contract and of course that will weaken my negotiating position when I need to renew the BB contract in May.

So the further in advance I agree a new BB contract (or not) the sooner I can decide if I want to commit to Youview.
