I'll have a spare double bedroom i could rent out to someone to share my apartment with. I don't want to live with just any old stranger like from advertising on gumtree etc, i want something in common with him/her ie PC gaming (console gamer is ok if you're not a console fanboy). Im no geek or anything at all, its just that i have a casual interest in PC/networking/gaming/tech i love the stuff, and im not big headed or anything i just know enough to be able to get by and enjoy it. Im 200% straight. Im friendly, open to conversation, down to earth type yet sort of quiet/shy, im 32 but act mid 20s and look late 20s, i look after myself im stocky/slim, i peddle to work and go to the gym 3-5 times /week, work as an electrician. Probably go out most Saturday nights to bars and clubs. Will have a sofa bed in the living room for if any best friends want to stay the night after a night out on the town.

Gaming wise, im mainly into MMORPG/FPS, multiplayer FPS. Single player-only games usually bore me. I dont buy many games, i tend or try to take interest in games that have a lot of replay value.

Cost to anyone interested would be negotiable at say £400/month which includes:
- all the home bills except food/drink/phone.
- brand new double bed, bed table and wardrobe.
- 60Mb and faster BT Infinity unlimited broadband with wired ethernet (dining + both bedrooms) and wireless router.
- nice area, and everything is modern brand new.
- freeview TV, i wont have Sky/Virgin TV its a load of crap anyway. Can download almost anything of interest from the inet. Could pay £15/month for unlimited movies at the cinema on Broad Street.
- your own bathroom but shared with guests, as i have an ensuite.
- 1 allocated car parking space if you have a car, in a secure remote-controlled gated undercroft parking area under the apartment block.
The location is good, less than a 5 minute walk for food/drink shopping, and 10-15 minutes to all the clubs, bars and all the shops of the city. So if you have a job near or in the middle of the city centre then you won't need a car (saving of over £200/month?)

No pets, no smoking, clean up after yourself, age 25-35 but 20-40 is fine.

The apartment im looking at is currently being built. Everything is electronically controlled. There's a shared lift in the hallway between the floors.

I live in a much nicer town 15 miles away but the night life is no where near as vast as Birmingham.

Im moving closer to my job in Birmingham city centre so i can make a saving of at least £250/month by not having a car, which gives me the incentive to stay fit and never get fat, and also stop by at the gym after leaving work as its on the same route.

Birmingham is pretty good to be fair, the night life is average for a city, people are friendlier than some places of the country, the cost of living is one of the best value of all the country.

As for traffic, if you can get a job in/near the city then traffic isn't much of a problem, its kind of why im getting the word out well ahead in advance for if anyone cant find a job where they live and see a job opening in Birmingham then they have the option of taking up my offer. Or they just might simply be bored of living where they are and fancy a scenery change, which is kind of the case for me in the town ive lived all my life.

Who said im good looking? I could be some minger or something.

I dont want to live with someone who is very unhealthy, suicidal, poor hygiene, smelly or very very fat. So anyone who isnt like that will appreciate im the same or similar as them that i look after myself.
Im no clean freak by a long shot, i dont care about dressing very smart or having fashionable clothes or anything like that or having some awesome sports car being all snobby about it. And im straight so if "man talk" type conversation gets going about women... its all good for us, if he is bi then id be grossed out by some of the stuff he might like to talk about.

not that im "looking forward to" such conversations, its just normal man talk when women arn't present, usually. I dont want to talk about men with a man its just not my thing at all.

£400 is about the going rate (or cheap) in an ok/good area, mostly your own bathroom, secure sheltered car parking space, furnished, nice place, all bills paid for shared home. Or have your own place that will cost at least double that, for probably a bit of a dump.
My bills all up will cost about £1100/month (£450 mortgage), and thats without the cost of going out (£50/night?), gaming, saving/holidays, the cost of running a car of minimum £200/month, Glad i don't have any kids to support!

As a 30 year old avid gamer, if I happened to be looking for a flat in Birmingham I'd be interested! I think you might do better advertising on specialist flatshare websites tbh. Can't imagine that too many people come on to DS when they need a place to live.
