How do I delete ask toolbar from chrome
Ask toolbar has appeared in chrome. I cannot get rid of it. It is a managed extension and cannot be removed. I have tried to uninstall in control panel with no success - tells me to close chrome when its not open. Help its driving me mad. I have tried googling for the answer but nothing seems to do it.

Chrome often runs process when it appears to not be running. open task manager (CRTL + SHIFT + ESC) got to the processes tab and select chrome.exe and then click the End Process button, repeat the selection and end process routine for every instance of chrome.exe. Once no more remain try to remove from from add/remove programs in control panel.
