Is anyone else having problems with iPlayer Desktop? I must admit I'm totally exasperated with it. I lost all my recorded programmes in November as a result of the Adobe Air update debacle and now, yet again, I have lost about 50 programmes recorded over the last few weeks.

I've come to the conclusion that it simply isn't fit for purpose and the best option for me is to download each programme manually without using iPlayer. In the meantime, why don't the BBC pull the plug on it until they actually have a product that works?

Just noticed the programmes are still there in the repository, but they don't show up in the download list and, of course, they cannot be played outside iPlayer.

Any recommendations on what to do next please? Thanks

If you uninstall iPlayer and re-install it without deleting the files it is fine. But this happens each time the computer is turned off. Got to be an easier way?

Can anyone help?
