When I am using iTunes in full screen, when I finish playing a video the screen slides to the left (like it does when you flick between applications) and although it shows the iTunes Menu Bar at the top, the main part of the screen is showing another application I have open. To get back to iTunes I have to slide back to the application.

Any way of turning this "feature" off?

I don't think there is yet. iTunes 11 is still very much a work in progress. Although Apple have fixed a lot of the early reported bugs there's still quite a bit needing fixing.

There are no bugs in Apple products, only known problems

Mind you, Apple did eat my kittens last week, so its not all good news.

Maybe it's called that because knownproblemreport.apple.com is too long? How did they eat your kittens? Did you have a visit from the men in black turtlenecks?
