I've been playing evil dead original Xbox game for a week now, and all of a sudden it displays a message.Error this game could not be started.

I've formatted the drive
I've re downloaded the Xbox 360 update
Cleared the cache.

And still nothing. It's been fine playing original games since I've had it.

Any help would be appreciated cheers.

It could quite simply be that the disc has buggered up. You say you have been playing it a week now, so for it to suddenly just go wrong it makes complete sense that the disc just died.

Which Evil Dead is it ? there is 2 on the Xbox and it says on the list of original Xbox games compatible with the Xbox 360 that 1 of them doesn't work.
