Pizza is better - doesn't need reheating

I know someone who buys chips from the chippy and freezes half of them for another day. Sounds yuk to me. Mind you the same bloke adds cold baked beans to salads believe it or not!!.

Blasting it in the microwave for however long as you've got left of it (give it 20 seconds or so, then another 10 or 20, and so on) to make it nice and hot again is better though.

Neither do chips. I regularly make more than I need and have them as a midnight snack.

If I ever get chips ~I will never ever throw any away as
I love chips and ...........they are yummy reheated the next day

I usually reheat them in a dry fry pan ~which keeps the outsides~golden and cripsy

If they're refried they should be excellent. if anything better than direct from the chippy.

Jeez, you eat some crap. Reheated chips with a ham roll?! It's barely food

Sounds nice to me. Most chippies use two stage frying so all you are doing by freezing them is making it 3 stage which is what Heston Blumenthal recommends for perfect chips.

A ham roll with good quality ham and a decent roll is also very nice.

I'm pretty sure the OP isn't talking about chips using heston's technique and I certainly wouldn't combine it with a ham roll. It's a carb overload for one and not even a nice one.

I like chippie shop chips, but only if refried in my frier, the same day or the next day.

I do that. A good dollop of cold baked beans goes great with a salad.

I sometimes place the chips in an ovendish and heat them in the oven.

I doubt if anyone else will agree, but I quite like cold fish and chips (i.e. the next day) but
taken out of fridge and brought to room temperature first. Try it - you'll be surprised how
much flavour they still have. Quite nice with salad cream....call me controversial!

Chips from the chip shop or Chinese are lovely the next day but chips from McD's/Burger King or KFC are awful reheated

I can't imagine salad without baked beans. I thought it was pretty much standard.
