I can't see any threads for some of my fave USA reality progs ~ including Storage Wars, Intervention, Ice Road Truckers, Celeb Rehab, Bridezillas ........ erm maybe I should get a real life hey...

But to kick off with Hoarders.

MINDBLOWN by last season's Shanna - that has surely got to be the most shocking piece of reality tv ever broadcast. Can't believe it hasn't gone viral around the world. Laughing at the guy who was meant to be having a sleep over.... yeh I bet that gig was cancelled.

Anyway, when your house has to be literally demolished and the entire site written off as a biohazard you know things have probably gone wrong in life. Except Shanna. Shanna doesn't know that. She's probably still confused as to why she can't go home.

Where is she now? Does anyone know.....

Oh sod it thought Id reply lol

Loive watching Hoarders mainly because it makes my house look sparkling

But saying that a lot of the people on the show need some kind on help. Family seem to have deserted them a long time ago and their is the odd one who hangs around to help as much as they can.

I watch this show too, generally on a Sat am. The saddest one I ever saw was when the clean up crew kept coming across dead cats in the woman's house under piles of dirt, rubbish, discarded used adult nappies etc. They found 3 or 4 & the woman wasn't even really that bothered, she was just 'I wondered where he'd gone'.

I admit I get so annoyed watching as the 'hoarders' yell & scream at everyone trying to help them & then just sit there like its not their problem while everyone else is busting their guts trying to clean it all up.

When there's kids involved, that's another time it makes me angry, like one I saw recently where one of the younger kids was having to sleep in a chair that he had to climb over mounds of rubbish to get to & the mother was so unconcerned that her children might be taken away from her, in fact she was saying it was all their fault, they made the mess & it would serve them right if they got taken away. The husband was a fireman. How on earth had he ever let it get that bad? His children were suffering so badly.

The level of denial the hoarders have is totally incomprehensible to me & there are serious issues there & I know I shouldn't get so annoyed by their attitudes as they're clearly struggling with mental health problems but I can't help getting annoyed by the way they all seem to blame everyone else around them rather than take any of the responsibility for it themselves.
