I take the point- lack of incentive to maintain aerials if you're getting your tv from other sources.
I agree that it would be nice if BT could deliver the Freeview suite via IPTV- especially beneficial for those who don't have a working aerial, but I was also thinking just that a couple of days ago, when I was fitting a bandpass filter to resolve Freeview reception issues.
There are gaps in reliable digital terrestrial/Freeview reception (I have some glitches with the 4 HD channels) in parts of the UK (I live in one of them!), which could clearly influence some consumers decision about buying a service that is partially reliant on it.




. They do playout for the BBC and channel 4 dont they?
