Previously on Back To Basics, the top 10 remaining acts sang live for your votes as they all took on rock songs. Whilst some rocked it out, others were a little less exciting. However for 4Tune, they were unable to rock and roll in the sing-off and were sent home by the judges. Tonight for our 9 acts, it's Floor Fillers, so we're gonna be seeing performances that make you wanna dance away...and as stated in an earlier thread, there is a twist to tonight's show which will be revealed later.

But first, fighting for your votes are:

pingu58011 & The Boys
Joe McElderry
Aiden Grimshaw

Kuda_Kunaka & The Girls
Alexandra Burke
TreyC Cohen
Leona Lewis

jackamakka & The Overs
Ruth Lorenzo
Kye Sones

bboy1988 & The Groups
Little Mix
MK1

Good evening and welcome to where your Sunday night starts right here, forget Dancing On Ice, this is where it's at!
So before we start, let's hope the panel have their dancing shoes on, judges please confirm your presence!

Wayhay, we have a full panel for once, I like this!

So we'll start with the groups and kicking the show off is the four muffins, it's Little Mix!

Girls, I just can`t fault you yet again. This was a completely different side of you, that was really upbeat and definitely fitted the theme. Leigh-anne you even showed off your wonderful rapping, and you harmonize so well. The vocals were good, and it is really looking like you will win this competition.

Girls that was a great, energetic performance. I loved hearing you do something really bouncy and similar to something you would actually release as a single. I was dancing along in my seat for that full song. Youíve really grown on me over the competition and I hope to see you next week.

Girls like I said yesterday I was pretty busy this week and sorta slacked off when it came to songs this week with both you and MK1. But tonight girls given the circumstances and a pretty last minute song choice I think you girls totally nailed it tonight. If I am being honest as was if the vocals on that track were almost written for you four to sing. Your harmonies are so amazing I love you girls. Jessy and Leigh-Anne let me just say I actually love you two. Tonight I was really worried but I feel as though you 2 were the glue tonight that really held this performance together and really stepped up and gave it everything. I hope the public continue to vote for my little muffins.

Perrie, Leigh-anne, Jade & Jesy, Well done for the energetic opening to the show tonight. I wish your mentor had chosen something with a little bit more depth both lyrically and vocally. It was still however a fun performance that showed a good different side to you.

So we start with great comments for the girls, but they need votes to go along with that.

Next is the first of the boys and planning to prove that he isn't on the road to nowhere, it's Aiden Grimshaw!

Aiden, you got a lot of stick off the judges last week, and I hope you don`t get it this week because that was just incredible. It was fun, and you really looked like you enjoyed yourself. As always the vocals were on top form, and you definitely deserve to be here next week because you are just amazing!!

That was a good performance Aiden. Iím not too sure whether I would class it as a Floor Filler, but it was nicely executed. If anything, I think what it was missing was the emotion weíve seen you put into songs which I know is difficult to do with upbeat songs but it just felt like you didnít really connect with the song. I guess itís down to the public whether they want to save you or not, but Iím not convinced tonight, sorry.

Aiden

Aiden I was really unsure of how you would cope tonight as I have quite frequently referenced the fact that I feel you are at your strongest when you are singing the deep dark intense songs. Aiden I have to be really honest and say I didnít think that was a great song choice for you. You are so edgy and cool and I felt that this song and the whole performance was very old and outdated and uncomfortable at times to listen to. This isnt exactly what I would call a floor filler or uptempo but I suppose the public will make their decision on that. I feel as though you may be in trouble tonight.

Aiden mate, I might be on my own here, but I hated. Its like your mentor played some kind of joke this week. Are you turning into some kind of novelty act? I don't understand how anyone on their right mind can throw on a performance like this on a club classics night...or any night. I felt like I travelled back in time to some haunting musical generation. I'm sorry that was just appalling Aiden, worst I've seen this series. if you go through tonight............

Ouch! Not good comments for Aiden but he was saved before, will he be saved by the public again?

Now for the first of Kuda's three girls and taking on a Saturdays song, it's TreyC Cohen!

TreyC, every single week I have not liked your performances. This week I thought it was good, and I am so glad your mentor changed your song choice, as I didn`t really like your previous song as it was predictable and didn`t really suit you. This suited you a lot better and really showed off your vocals. I just don`t know f it`s too late or not, and if you will be saved. If you are saved, I want performances like this and more!!

Treyc Cohen
Note: I can't remember if I re-wrote this for the new song but I'll just post it anyway
Treyc, Iíve said from the very start that I love you and you just enforced that even more tonight. Loved the song choice, loved your voice. It was just...wow! Kuda really knows the direction heís taking you and thatís what is helping you stand out against the other really powerful voices in the competition because youíre doing a completely different style to them. I know itís not a popular opinion, but Iíd rather hear you over Leona or Alex any day.

Treyc, errrmmmm I wasnít a huge fan of that tonight sorry, although it was better than your original song choice for tonight. Treyc you really have the potential to be one of the most amazing singers in this competition but I have never gotten that moment from you were I actually sit back and listen and think that is what I call a performance. I think given the theme and song choice it was ok and you should be safe. I understand that your mentor obviously wasnít able to strip it back due to this theme but if the theme allows it for the next show if you stay in please strip it back and allow your vocals to stand out please.

Treyc my girl you had fun on stage you worked..that..stage. You hit some big notes but still kept that dance vibe going on stage. I gave you a last minute change when I listened to a clip of yours on youtube and I just knew you I had made a mistake, you had to sing this song, and girl, forget The Saturdays, that sounded like it was written for you, you were meant to sing that song and I'm glad you did cause that was one great performance.

So it's great comments overall for TreyC, only time will tell if she'll be safe.

On to the first of the Overs and her mama knows best about her, it's Ruth Lorenzo!

Yeah baby! Thatís what Iím talking about! I took a risk with you on a Jessie J song, but you harnessed your power and challenged it out into that performance. I really believe in you and think you can go far in this competition. That was really nicely blasted out and I think thatís us shown off so many different styles you can master. I want to see what I can do with you next round, great job!

WOAH!! Ruth you are a star. That was just...I don`t have any words for how good it was. You made me want to get up there with you, and dance with you. Your vocals were as good as always, and I don`t think you should be any where near the bottom 2. Well done!!

You have one heck of a pair of lungs in you and damn did you just use 'em tonight!... I'm not absolutely sure if some of the notes Jessie hit are in your range, but I was just in awe of you up on that stage note after note. And I don't think that was club classics enough but I think you can get away with it tonight. Well Done Ruth!

Ruth when this track started I was like hmmm what way will this go but I have to admit I thought it was a really good performance. Your mentor in my opinion picked a really good song for you this week. You were able to insert your powerful vocals into that performance but at the same time show your sexy senorita side. Ruth I really liked that performance tonight.
