Using a projector with a TV/DVD Combo
Neil C

Hi

I'm considering getting a projector for my bedroom. I currently have an XBOX 360 with Sky Go and a Toshiba 22 inch TV/DVD Combination with Freeview.

I can connect the xbox to a projector with HDMI but how can i wire the tv to the projector.

My tv has both composite and scart sockets. The projector i am looking at has composite socket.

Would it be possible to connect the TV to the projector via a Scart video adaptor with input/output switch and phono sockets.

The aim is to generate a freeview picture and sound onto the screen via a projector.

The TV should output the tuner signal out the SCART socket, so you could connect that to your projector - however, it's the poorest possible quality, and a pretty 'nasty' method. Why not just buy a cheap Freeview box and use that?.
